Partneryn is not for children under 13. During onboarding you choose Teen for ages 13 to 17 or Adult for ages 18 and over. That choice shapes what you see and who you can meet. Lying about age can lead to limits or removal of the account. We take age honesty seriously because it protects everyone in the community.
Feeds, discovery, messaging, calls, and plans stay inside the same age group. Adults should not try to reach teen spaces, and teens should not try to reach adult spaces. Tools that change that separation are not allowed. If we find someone crossing the line, we may remove content or close the account. Report anything that looks like an age mix up so we can check it.
Child sexual exploitation and grooming are banned without exception. We may remove content, ban accounts, and preserve evidence when we must. We may also contact the right authorities when the law or safety requires it. If you see something that puts a young person at risk, report it in the app right away. Parents and carers can talk with teens about online safety and kind behaviour. Encourage them to use report and block tools when something feels wrong. Remind them never to share codes, money details, or private photos under pressure. Partneryn staff can help when you contact support with a clear concern. We prefer early reports over waiting until harm grows.
Some sensitive features may ask for extra checks before they unlock. We may use trusted verification partners to confirm eligibility. Those checks exist to reduce risk, not to create friction for its own sake. If a check fails, you can retry or contact support for guidance.
