Our Commitment

We want Partneryn to be a place where people can connect without fear. Safeguarding means we design features and respond to reports with care. We separate teens and adults, and we take grooming and exploitation seriously. This page explains how we think about harm and what you can do if something feels wrong. It works together with Child Safety, Community Rules, and Report tools.

2

Respectful Behaviour

Respectful behaviour is the everyday foundation of safety. Listen when someone says no. Do not push for personal details that are not needed for the chat. Do not shame people for leaving a call or cancelling a plan. Small kindnesses add up, and so do small harms. If you see disrespect aimed at someone else, report it rather than amplifying it.

  • No unwanted sexual messages or images.
  • No stalking, doxxing, or blackmail.
  • No encouraging self-harm or illegal activity.
3

Protecting Teens

Teen users stay in a separate experience from adults. Adults must not try to contact teens through Partneryn. Content and discovery tools are built to support that boundary. Extra care applies to any report involving a young person. If you are a parent or carer, talk with teens about what to share and when to report.

4

Reporting

Use in-app Report when you see harmful content or behaviour. You can also use Help Point or email hello@partneryn.com. Include what happened, when it happened, and any usernames you remember. Screenshots help when they are safe to take. We prioritise urgent risks to people over minor disagreements.

5

Our Response

When a report arrives we review it with context. We may remove content, limit features, warn someone, or close an account. In serious cases we may preserve evidence and contact the right authorities. We cannot always share every detail of an investigation because that can put others at risk. We will still try to tell you that we received your report and that action was considered.

6

Offline Meetings

Offline meetings arranged through Plans carry real world risk. Choose public places, travel with a plan, and leave if you feel unsafe. Do not feel pressured to share your home address early. Tell a friend where you are going and when you expect to be back. If something goes wrong, get to safety first, then report on Partneryn and contact local emergency services if needed.

7

Partners & Live

Partners and live hosts have extra influence in a room. They should set a clear tone and remove people who harass others when tools exist. Pricing and offers should match what is delivered. Fake scarcity and bait and switch behaviour harm trust. We may pause partner or live access when safety rules are broken.

8

User Responsibilities

Every user shares responsibility for a safer space. Be honest about your age group and identity. Do not pressure others to share private information. Follow the Community Rules and do not try to bypass age separation. Keep your login codes private and report early rather than waiting for harm to grow. Support others who speak up about unsafe behaviour.

Contact

For safeguarding concerns email hello@partneryn.com. Put Safeguarding in the subject if you can. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Partneryn staff can help with account and content actions after people are safe. Related help also lives on the Report and Child Safety pages.
